On September 4 in Tam Dao (Phu Tho), the Information Corps youth volleyball team won convincingly against VTV Binh Dien Long An team with a score of 3-0. The scores of the games are 25-19, 25-19, 25-17. Thus, the Information Corps youth team won all group stage matches to take first place, earning a place in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Head coach Nguyen Trong Linh and the young players of the Information Corps aim to defend the championship title. Therefore, this team put on the field the strongest squad to face opponent VTV Binh Dien Long An.
The match is considered the focus of the group stage of the women's event of this year's tournament. In addition, experts have witnessed the direction of the two leading young coaches at the moment, Mr. Nguyen Trong Linh (Information Corps) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa (VTV Binh Dien Long An).

On September 5 and 6, the teams will compete in the quarter-finals. After that, the Organizing Committee will determine the 4 best men's and 4 women's teams to enter the semi-finals to compete for the championship. Coach Thai Quang Lai is an experienced person. He was the head coach of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team. At the club level, he has coached the Sanest Khanh Hoa men's team, Ha Tinh and the Thanh Hoa women's team, VTV Binh Dien Long An.
This coach won the national championship in 2020 with Sanest Khanh Hoa and the championship in 2024 with VTV Binh Dien Long An. Official information was given by VTV Binh Dien Long An team, saying that the two sides ended the contract early due to no consensus on the development orientation of the team.
Vietnam still holds the 28th place in the world
The Vietnam women's volleyball team is still ranked 28th in the world in the FIVB rankings on September 4. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team finished 31st in the 2025 World Championship. However, the team's ranking has not changed in the world.
