Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) opens to the public freely
Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) will be open to the public to watch the ASEAN Army International Men's Volleyball Tournament 2026.
According to research, the tournament has programs from August 18 to August 28. In which, the official teams compete from August 21.
This year, the Vietnam Army Men's Volleyball Team is the host. In addition to this team, guests include the Ho Chi Minh City Police men's team, representatives of Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore.
Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) has just organized the first leg of the women's event of the SEA V.Cup 2026. Spectators witnessed the highly professional matches of the above tournament during the organization time.
This is the first time the ASEAN Military Men's International Volleyball Tournament has been held here.
Last year, Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi) hosted the AVC Nations Cup 2025 and was the venue for friendly matches between the Vietnamese women's team, Spain and Kenya.
Last July, the Mongolian men's volleyball team trained in Vietnam and conducted practice matches at Dong Anh Gymnasium (Hanoi).
Thanh Thuy is expected to still wear jersey number 16
Main attacker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy has been confirmed by the Gunma Green Wings women's team to re-sign a contract to play in Japan for the 2026-2027 season.
It is expected that Thanh Thuy will continue to wear jersey number 16 at this team in the new season. In the 2025-2026 season, Thanh Thuy wore this jersey number to participate in the National Championship of Japan.
In May, the Gunma Green Wings women's team came to Vietnam to participate in the VTV9-Binh Dien 2026 Volleyball Cup.
Currently, Thanh Thuy is on duty with the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team.
The 2026-2027 Japan National Championship season will kick off in October 2026. It is expected that Thanh Thuy will go to Japan at the above time.
Expected to not add more players to the women's team
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team continues to train at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports after 2 legs of the SEA V.Cup 2026 tournament.
According to research, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team is expected not to add more athletes to continue professional preparation for the 2026 Asian Championship to be held in China.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will only train players who are on the list before registering the official force to play in China.
This tournament will kick off on August 21.
