Within the framework of the signing ceremony and announcement of the sponsor of the Vietnam women's volleyball team held on the morning of May 6, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet had a noteworthy sharing.
Accordingly, Mr. Kiet revealed that an Indonesian club is keeping an eye on the main striker Vi Thi Nhu Quynh and wants to have her service in the near future.
However, whether Nhu Quynh can compete abroad or not depends on many factors, including the consent of the home team. In case Quang Ninh club wins a ticket to the national championship next season, balancing the team's expertise is also a problem that needs to be raised.
However, for Vietnamese volleyball fans, they look forward to seeing Nhu Quynh continue to join Thanh Thuy in competition, rub shoulders and even better, shine in international tournaments if they go abroad. Since then, the national team has also been raised.
"Regarding going abroad, we should also sympathize with the athletes. In addition to the pressure and responsibility from the national team, the responsibility towards the clubs is also huge.
Whether Vietnamese athletes can go abroad or not depends on the club, that is also a barrier. Of course, having players play abroad brings many benefits and can contribute to the national team," said Mr. Kiet.
Previously, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh had an impressive performance at the AVC Champions League 2025 in the VTV Binh Dien Long An shirt, and received the "Best Striker" award.
Statistics at the tournament show that Nhu Quynh is the best scorer of Long An with 97 points, surpassing her senior Thanh Thuy (95 points) in terms of efficiency on the field.
