"Regarding going abroad, we should also sympathize with the athletes. In addition to the pressure and responsibility from the national team, the responsibility towards the clubs is also huge.
Whether Vietnamese athletes can go abroad or not depends on the club, that is also a barrier. Of course, having players play abroad brings many benefits and can contribute to the national team," said Mr. Kiet.
Previously, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh had an impressive performance at the AVC Champions League 2025 in the VTV Binh Dien Long An shirt, and received the "Best Striker" award.
Statistics at the tournament show that Nhu Quynh is the best scorer of Long An with 97 points, surpassing her senior Thanh Thuy (95 points) in terms of efficiency on the field.
