President of the Asian Athletics Confederation works in Vietnam

President of the Asian Athletics Federation, Mr. Dahlan Jumaan Al Hamad, is implementing important work programs in Vietnam.

On November 21, Director of the Vietnam Department of Physical Training and Sports Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet and representatives of professional units, Vietnam Athletics Federation worked with President of the Asian Athletics Federation - Mr. Dahlan Jumaan Al Hamad in Hanoi.

In the program, the parties exchanged many specific information. In particular, Vietnamese sports are very hopeful of the combination and professional support from the Asian Athletics Federation.

At the same time, the Vietnam Department of Physical Training and Sports hopes that the President of the Asian Athletics Federation will introduce good experts to Vietnam for training to aim for achievement goals for many important arenas in the future, including the ASIAD and a place in the Olympics.

The Vietnamese side said it is developing a plan to promote the program that could host a continental-level athletics tournament within the next 2 years. However, it all depends on many factors, including infrastructure for the continental international athletics tournament.

According to the plan, the President of the Asian Athletics Federation will attend the 2025 Asian Athletics Federation Council Conference hosted by Vietnam on November 24 in Hanoi. It is expected that the Vietnam Athletics Federation will have discussions at the above Conference, thereby making proposals to the Asian Athletics Federation.
