Marcus Rashford is trusted
Not too many people praised Rashford before this important match, but don't forget that the 19-year-old striker himself contributed greatly to helping M.U get a ticket to Stockholm.
After Ibrahimovic's injury, Rashford has suddenly regained his form as he first debuted in the final stages of the 2015-16 season. In the two semi-final matches against Celta Vigo, Rashford left his mark in all of the "Red Devils' goals", 1 goal in the first leg in Spain and 1 assist for Fellaini in the second leg.
Of course, Rashford is being fully trusted in Manchester United's attack, but the striker's scoring efficiency at the moment is not good. Rashford's goal in the two semi-final games against Celta Vigo was the only successful of his seven shots in goal.
In the upcoming final, of course, Ajax's focus will be pushed to a higher level, so Rashford does not have much space to be able to comfortably finish. From now on, the English striker needs to focus more and take advantage of the opportunities he has if he does not want his team to have unfavorable results.
M.U has a fairly "goose" defense
Bailly and Smailling are both unable to play, which is a huge loss for Manchester United. Therefore, the most likely defense that coach Mourinho can use right now include: Valencia, Jones, Blind and Darmian.
Of the two full-backs, only Valencia are reliable as the Ecuadoran has continued to play regularly. Meanwhile, on the opposite side, Darmian is just a "fire-fighting" option for Mourinho in the context of Shaw being constantly injured and Blind being forced to stick in central defense due to lack of players. Darmian's biggest weakness is his ability to stick and accelerate and unfortunately for M.U at that time was Ajax's strength with the youngest players in their prime.
Returning to the center-back duo, the appearance of Jones and Blind is considered a very flawed "piece" at the moment, but when there are not enough players, M.U have no other choice. This season, Jones has often "slipped" on the bench and there was a time when he was thought to have been sent off at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, his partner is Blind - who has never been remembered as a centre-back. Blind is a versatile player, playing in many positions, but of the positions that Blind can take on, the center back is the weakest. In terms of physique, height and ability to play doubles, Blind is not outstanding.
Ajax's "teacher" Kasper Dolberg
Dolberg is only 19 years old this year and has been given the responsibility of being the highest player in Ajax's attack in the upcoming final. In the context of Dutch football starting to decline in the past 3-4 years, Dolberg's generation at Ajax is being hoped to be the new stars to save the " orange tornado".
If we look at the statistics, Dolberg is somewhat sharper than the brightest young talent in England at the moment, Dele Alli. While Alli scored 23 goals/55 matches last season, Dolberg scored 22 goals/42 matches.
Young, healthy but Ajax lacks experience
Experience is the most needed thing in big matches in the continental playground. This season, Ajax, a young team with an average age of just 22, has gone through everything to reach the Europa League final. However, the opponents that Ajax have defeated such as Lyon and Schalke in recent decades have never been a big name in the old continent, all of whom are far from Manchester United.
Not stopping there, M.U being led by Jose Mourinho is the biggest obstacle for the young players of the Dutch representative. The "special" has too much experience in the European arena and knows what to do to "report" to a team of "children" like Ajax.
The Europa League final between M.U and Ajax will take place at 1:45 a.m. on May 25. Due to copyright issues, VTVcab had its live broadcast cut, so Vietnamese audiences could not watch this match on television.
