Official sports included in the competition include athletics (at Thong Nhat Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City; mountain mountain climbing Vietnamese competition in Dong Nai), water sports (swimming in Ho Chi Minh City, billiards in Hanoi), figure-t compete, football (men's, women's, futsal), fighting (free, classic, beach), archery, weightlifting, judo, taekwondo, boxing, boxing, badminton, tennis, boat racing (rowing, canoeing, traditional in Ho Chi Minh City, sailing in Dong Nai),
Volleyball ( indoor, beach), basketball (3x3, 5x5), throwing balls ( indoor, beach), bicycles (school roads, terrain), table tennis, golf, triathlon, karate, cloud bridge ( indoor, beach), kurash, jujitsu, roller, Esports,
Physical education, muay, iron balls, bowling, flags, billiards & snooker, sports dance, aerobic exercise, vovinam, diving, traditional martial arts, football ( indoors, beach), stick pushing, tug of war, lion and dragon, pickleball will take place in Ho Chi Minh City.
Wushu is held in Dong Nai. The pencak silat exam will take place in Dong Thap.
March 1, 2026 is the deadline for issuing the Charter for each sport at the 10th National Sports Festival - 2026. The Congress will be held from November 14, 2026 to December 12, 2026. The opening will be held on November 20 and the closing will be on December 12, 2026. The entire Congress put into competition 973 sets of medals.
Previously, in July 2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a Decision approving the Project to organize the 10th National Sports Festival - 2026.
The project clearly classifies sports organized in groups of Olympic events, ASIAD events and SEA Games events, ethnic sports.
The budget for organizing the 10th National Sports Festival - 2026 is regulated from the central budget and the local budget according to each specific work item.
