For national sports teams that change competition locations (formerly planned to be Songkhla, Thailand), the Organizing Committee of the 33rd SEA Games has announced new accommodation to ensure travel and accommodation during professional competition.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh - Head of the Vietnam Sports Delegation, will assign tasks to each Deputy Head of the Delegation and staff during the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand to best ensure the set tasks. According to the arrangement, the Vietnam Sports Delegation will have an operating area as the Delegation's office in Bangkok (Thailand). The flag-raising ceremony of the Vietnam Sports Delegation will be held on the afternoon of December 8.
The head of the Vietnamese sports delegation will decide the number of members attending the opening ceremony held on the evening of December 9. This is one of the SEA Games that the Vietnam Sports Delegation participated in with a large force of 1,165 members.
The personnel of the Sports Delegation to serve the professional statistics and competition program, travel plans to each location during the Congress are implemented in detail. Up to this point, 2 members of the Vietnam Sports Delegation on the list will not go to Thailand due to professional problems: track and field athlete Nguyen Hoai Van (injured) and track and field coach Cao Thanh Van. The players holding flags for the Vietnam Sports Delegation are Le Thanh Thuy (volleyball) and Le Minh Thuan (karate) will go to Thailand on December 8. According to the competition program, the Vietnam Sports Delegation will have a number of teams to go to Thailand to participate in the 33rd SEA Games at the latest on December 16.
The Vietnamese sports delegation has developed a plan for "hot" rewards for achievements in the 33rd SEA Games, accordingly each Gold Medal will receive 10 million VND, Silver Medal is 5 million VND and Bronze Medal is 3 million VND.
