Next, the MB Border Guard team won the Hung Vuong Cup 2025. At the 2025 National Championship, the MB Border Guard team won all 9 matches (5 first-leg matches, 2 second-leg matches, 1 semi-final match, 1 final match).
Last year, coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team also held the above 3 trophies. However, at the 2024 National Championship, they did not guarantee a complete victory due to losing to Sanest Khanh Hoa in the group stage.
Setter Dinh Van Duy of the MB Border Guard team shared: "Our team played very focused. On the field, all situations happen quickly, so each person must comply with the requirements of the coaching staff."
Striker Nguyen Ngoc Thuan said: "The achievement of winning all season this year is truly meaningful. We didn't think we would be able to do it, but now, the result is a reality."
Each team has its own preparation. Coach Tran Dinh Tien and his students have worked together for many years. It can be seen that they are like a miniature family in a football team and the teacher understands the characteristics of the students.
Mr. Tien considers each player as his own child, so he promotes all his professional strengths but also has careful supervision to avoid negative impacts on performance.
In the journey to participate in the National Championship up to now, the MB Border Guard team has won 4 national championships (in 2009, 2011, 2024, 2025). Coach Tran Dinh Tien has played the role of head coach of the team in the above seasons.
Looking at his expertise, this experienced coach cautiously believes that the success of the team is due to the great contribution of the players. Because players are a core factor in terms of expertise. The team has a cohesion when the players are trained and go together from youth to adulthood to achieve the results at this time.
Statistics from the National Championship Organizing Committee show that some men's teams that have won the national championship in 2 consecutive seasons are The Cong Tan Cang (before 2004), Ho Chi Minh City, LPBank Ninh Binh and Border Guard MB.
