According to Lao Dong's investigation, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will not compete in the 2026 International Women's Volleyball Tournament in Taiwan (China) as many rumors on social media platforms in recent times.
This tournament is expected to be held from July 30 to August 2.
In the 2026 professional plan, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation does not implement the above tournament competition program in Taiwan (China).
In addition, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is focusing on the task of participating in 2 legs of the SEA V.League 2026 and VTV Cup 2026, so they will not send forces to Taiwan (China).
Last year, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team sent representatives to the Future Stars International Tournament 2025 in Shanghai (China).
This year, the tournament took place from June 22 to June 28, and the Vietnamese women's volleyball team did not participate due to the need for preparation focused on important international tasks.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team is training at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has a list of 28 players including: Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Le Nhu Anh, Le Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Vi Thi Yen Nhi, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Ly Thi Luyen, Le Thi Yen, Dinh Thi Thuy, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Dang Thi Kim Thanh, Doan Thi Xuan, Luu Thi Hue, Lai Thi Khanh Huyen, Pham Quynh Huong, Nguyen Huynh Phuong Thuy, Ca Thi Tu, Dinh Thi Van, Trinh Huynh Bao Ngoc, Nguyen Thi Tra My, Vo Thi Thao Nguyen, Nguyen Phuong Quynh, Bui Thi Anh Thao, Le Thuy Linh, Bui Hong Nhung, Do Lai Yen Nhi.
The first leg of the SEA V.League 2026 tournament is held in Vietnam from July 31 to August 2. The second leg takes place in Thailand from August 7 to September 8.
Meanwhile, VTV Cup 2026 held in Vietnam will take place from August 8 to August 15.
