Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team Returns Home with Confidence

The U21 Vietnam women's volleyball team was welcomed home at Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) on the afternoon of August 18.

Representatives of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation arrived at Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) to congratulate members of the Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team.

Right at the airport, Head of the High Performance Sports Department (Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports) - Mr. Hoang Quoc Vinh encouraged the spirit of the whole team. After that, coach Nguyen Trong Linh and the coaching staff reported the preliminary performance and professional achievements of the team.

The Vietnam Volleyball Federation has arranged the Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team to stay with the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team in Dong Anh (Hanoi). It is expected that on August 19, members of the youth women's team will return to their home team.

General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation - Mr. Le Tri Truong met with the team on the evening of August 18 in Dong Anh (Hanoi) to encourage the results of the recent competition.

At the end of the 2025 U21 Women's Volleyball World Cup in Indonesia, we ranked 19th. The U21 Vietnam Youth Women's Volleyball Team competed in the group stage with the teams U21 Indonesia, U21 Serbia, U21 Canada, U21 Argentina, U21 Puerto Rico.

After that, according to the decision of the Organizing Committee, the team had to compete in a qualifying round from 17 to 24. The team won the U21 Egypt team, lost to the U21 Chile team and won the U21 Dominican Republic team in the qualifying round matches.

12 players of the Vietnam U21 Women's Volleyball Team participated in the tournament in Indonesia, including: Lai Khanh Huyen, Ngo Thi Bich Hue, Pham Quynh Huong, Pham Thuy Linh, Le Thuy Linh, Bui Thi Anh Thao, Nguyen Phuong Quynh, Dang Thi Hong, Le Nhu Anh, Nguyen Lan Vy, Nguyen Van Ha, Ha Kieu Vy.
