14 Vietnamese women's volleyball players will participate in the 2025 World Volleyball Championship held in Thailand, including: Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Pham Thi Hien, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Nguyen Thi Ninh Anh, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Le Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, Nguyen Thi Trinh.
This year, the 2025 World Volleyball Championship will take place in Thailand from August 22 to September 7. The Vietnam women's volleyball team is in Group G with the women's teams of Poland, Kenya and Germany. Of which, the Polish team is ranked 3rd in the world and is a candidate for the championship this year.
The list of 14 players of head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet is not much surprising because they are all familiar to fans in the AVC Nations Cup 2025, VTV Cup 2025 and SEA V.League 2025. The only absentee is libero Luu Thi Ly Ly.

The Vietnam women's volleyball team is participating in the second phase of the 2025 SEA V.League in Ninh Binh from August 8 to August 10. After this tournament, our players will have a training program with the Kenyan women's team and the Spanish women's team in Vietnam. Each of these teams will visit Vietnam on August 15.
This is the first time the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team has won a place to participate in the World Championship. Last year, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team participated in the FIVB Challenge Cup 2024 and won third place.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet once said that the whole team will focus on preparing professionally to compete for the best results at this year's world tournament.
The 2025 World Volleyball Championship has 32 participating teams, divided into 8 qualifying groups. The top two teams in each group will qualify directly for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals. Southeast Asia has two participating teams, Vietnam and Thailand (host).
