However, after this period, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team will prepare a plan to strengthen the force. According to research, the expected number of coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet may be 28 players.
Recently, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation announced the international competition schedule of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team.
Notably, 2 tournaments, VTV Cup 2026 (in Vietnam, from August 8 to August 15) and SEA V.League 2026 (Round 1 in Vietnam from July 31 to August 2; stage 2 in Thailand from August 7 to August 9) will take place at the same time. Therefore, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will have to build 2 teams to participate in parallel in the above 2 tournaments.
The list of 14 players who will participate in AVC Cup 2026 includes: Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Le Nhu Anh, Le Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Vi Thi Yen Nhi, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Ly Thi Luyen, Le Thi Yen, Dinh Thi Thuy, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Dang Thi Kim Thanh and Doan Thi Xuan.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team always opens its doors to create opportunities to gather with players with the highest form and desire to compete.
In addition, the coaching staff has a plan to strengthen the young force to increase experience and develop expertise in the future.
In addition to the number of players, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet is also expected to add personnel to the coaching staff of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team in the near future. On June 3, the team will go to the Philippines to compete in the AVC Cup 2026.
