On the evening of November 19 in Indonesia, the 2025 Southeast Asian diving Championship ended after the final round of the events for the Asian Youth Championship and Championship (for Southeast Asian athletes).
Showing outstanding expertise, Vietnamese divers won a total of 31 gold medals, 22 silver medals and 4 bronze medals in the championship competition. The result helped us top the group.
Last year, the Vietnamese diving team won 21 gold medals and won first place. This year's achievement helped the Vietnamese swimming pool successfully defend their No. 1 position.
Notably, Vietnamese athletes all won gold medals at the 4 competition days of the tournament. On the last day of competition (19.11), the Vietnamese diving team won 8 more championships in the men's, women's and relay events.
For the Asian Youth Championship (for Southeast Asian athletes) also held in Indonesia, Vietnamese athletes took the lead with a total of 24 gold medals, 15 silver medals and 13 bronze medals. The results continue to confirm that young Vietnamese divers have good professional development potential in the future.
The 2025 Southeast Asian Championship is the final international tournament of the Vietnamese diving team this year. This time, the Vietnamese diving team participated with 45 athletes.
