In the first week of training, the female players had 2 physical training sessions at Tuan Mai beach and a friendly match with the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Women's Club.
According to the plan, the Vietnam women's team will travel to Hai Phong on July 30. From July 30 to August 3, the whole team will practice lightly, adjust the drop points and from August 4, the team will move to a hotel arranged by the tournament organizers.
In the first days of the week, head coach Mai Duc Chung and captain Huynh Nhu were present in Australia to attend the draw for the 2026 Asian Cup Women's finals.
Therefore, the coaching staff and players maintain training according to the instructions handed over by the head coach, including the following contents: warming up with the ball, speeding up at distances of 15m, 20m, 30m and practicing medium-sized pressing games on the field.
Coaches Mai Duc Chung and Huynh Nhu are expected to return to Vietnam on July 30 and will gather with the team in Hai Phong, ready for the goal of conquering the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship.
