Resolution No. 82/2026/NQ-HDND (dated July 15, 2026) of the Hanoi City People's Council stipulating a number of regimes and policies for members of the Hanoi sports team during the time of concentration, training and official competition has been widely disseminated to all coaches and athletes of Hanoi Capital.
This Resolution takes effect from July 25, 2026, after being signed and promulgated.
Accordingly, the new reward level for medal achievements in the international arena of Hanoi sports coaches and athletes is significantly increased.
Accordingly, athletes who win 1 Olympic gold medal will be awarded 1 billion 750 million VND, and 1 Olympic silver medal will be 1 billion 100 million VND, while 1 bronze medal will be 700 million VND.
Each Olympic record is awarded an additional 700 million VND.
Each ASIAD gold medal will be awarded 140 million VND, the silver medal is 85 million VND and the bronze medal is 55 million VND.
An ASIAD record awarded 55 million VND.
For the Asian Beach Games and the Asian Games and indoor martial arts, athletes are rewarded 60 million VND/gold medal, 30 million VND/silver medal and 25 million VND/bronze medal.
The record achieved at each Congress will be awarded 25 million VND.
Competing at the SEA Games and achieving results, each Hanoi Capital athlete will receive a corresponding bonus of one gold medal, one silver medal, and one bronze medal, respectively 55 million VND, 30 million VND, and 25 million VND.
A SEA Games record will be awarded 25 million VND.
Athletes with gold, silver, and bronze medals at the National Sports Games will be rewarded with 30 million VND/medal, 15 million VND/medal, and 10 million VND/medal respectively...
Currently, the nutritional level (food money) for each member of the Hanoi Capital sports team training domestically is 300,000 VND/person/day, the youth team is 250,000 VND/person/day, and the talented team is 19,000 VND/person/day.
When entering the stage of strengthening training and competing in high-performance sports tournaments, nutrition for the Hanoi Capital sports team is increased to 400,000 VND/person/day.
Currently, Hanoi Sports has a large number of coaches and athletes in many national sports teams preparing for ASIAD 20.
Therefore, they will be the first to enjoy new rewards if they win ASIAD 20 medals.
ASIAD 20 will take place from September 19 to October 4 in Japan.
