Former volleyball player Do Thi Minh was born in 1988, known as the cousin of former beauty queen Pham Thi Yen.
At the age of 17, Do Thi Minh joined the Information Command Club (now the Information Corps) and became one of the key players. Only after 1 year, she wrote her name on the list of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
In her career, former main attacker Do Thi Minh has won 8 national championships in the colors of the Information Command. Although only 1m73 tall, the female athlete is considered one of the most talented main attackers in Vietnam. Even, Volleybox specialist page once ranked Do Thi Minh in 2nd place, after junior Tran Thi Thanh Thuy.
Due to age and health issues, in 2020, Do Thi Minh decided to stop playing professionally and switch to coaching and training. Currently, she is taking on the role of coach of the young women's team of the Information Corps.
Not only has a successful volleyball career, coach Do Thi Minh also makes many people admire her happy and fulfilling family life with her husband and children.
The wedding of the former athlete born in 1988 once attracted the attention of fans, no less prominent than contemporary volleyball stars.
In 2016, Do Thi Minh married her husband Le Chuc - who is working in the army. Her husband is from Nghe An, used to study for the Information Officer rank. It is known that the couple was "married" by the captain of the football team.
After more than 1 year of getting to know each other, the female athlete and Mr. Le Chuc decided to share a house with the support of both families.
Do Thi Minh and her husband currently have 2 children, 1 boy and 1 girl. After getting married, she once encountered a "difficult problem" when having to balance between career and family. But thanks to the support and help of her husband and relatives, Do Thi Minh has enough support to focus on her work.
