The Vietnam women's volleyball team lost their second match at the 2025 World Championship, but coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet is still optimistic in the final match against Kenya.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet shared with the media after the match against Germany: "In this match, the Vietnamese players did not play so badly. The team has tried its best professional ability. We have determined from the beginning that participating in the tournament is an effort to avoid losing and win.

Mr. Kiet also affirmed that the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team will try their best to win the final match in Group G. We will meet the Kenyan team on August 27 in Phuket (Thailand).

Meanwhile, German coach Giulio Cesare Bregoli believes that important international tournaments such as the World Championship help players mature a lot.

The Asian players have been showing good professionalism recently. When your player participates in many level tournaments like this, the experience is accumulated and the expertise increases significantly, said the coach.

With two losses to Poland and Germany, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team has run out of opportunities to qualify directly after the group stage.

However, we still have our last match against the Kenyan women's team. Before this confrontation with the Kenyan team, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team had played against their opponents twice.

For the first time, the Vietnam team will play a friendly match with Kenya during the 2023 FIVB Challenge Cup.

The second time was the recent friendly training session in Dong Anh (Hanoi). Here, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team beat Kenya with a score of 4-0.
