On the afternoon of November 9, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the authorities of Lam Dong province and Bao Lam 1 commune were present at HC Bao Lam Joint Stock Company located in village 20 Loc Thang.

Initial information, the above explosion occurred at around 9:45 a.m. the same day.
The two workers working at HC Bao Lam Joint Stock Company are Mr. Nguyen Huu Tung (29 years old, residing in Bao Lam 1 commune) and Mr. Ha Duy Khanh (28 years old, residing in Ward 2 Bao Loc, Lam Dong province). These people were identified as having gone for technical inspection in the factory.
During the inspection, the 2 workers discovered that the acid tank area had signs of leakage, so they tightened the tank bulbs. During the process of the process, due to the bulong rust, the two workers took the Company's cutting machine and ran it with a battery to cut the bulong. During the cutting process, a flame caused contact with Hydropower gas in the leaking tank, causing the tank to explode.
The consequences of the explosion caused Mr. Nguyen Huu Tung and Mr. Ha Duy Khanh to be seriously injured and were taken to Lam Dong II Hospital by everyone in the Company for emergency care. Due to the seriousness of the injuries, both Mr. Tung and Mr. Khanh died later.
Upon receiving the report, Lam Dong Provincial Police and Bao Lam 1 Commune Police were present to block off the scene; at the same time, they deployed an investigation to serve the investigation and clarify the cause of the explosion.
HC Bao Lam Joint Stock Company started construction in March 2024. The project has a designed capacity of 20,000 tons/year. The plant focuses on the production of NaOH juice and clo products - which play an essential role in the treatment of water supply and industrial wastewater.
Currently, the project has basically completed the construction and installation of equipment systems and machinery lines to put into operation.
This morning, while the Company was preparing to hold a completion ceremony, an explosion occurred in an air tank, killing 2 workers.
