According to the organizing committee (BTC), the race starts with 4 distances: 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km, suitable for both professional athletes, amateur runners, families and children. The running route of the tournament will take athletes through typical locations, bearing the cultural imprint and typical landscapes of the Sen Hong Land.


Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee said that the 2025 Marathon has profound historical significance. This is the first major cultural event held after the merger between Tien Giang and Dong Thap provinces. The race is not only a physical race but also a symbol of solidarity, rising up and an important milestone in the new development journey of the land rich in cultural and historical traditions.
Mr. Huynh Minh Tuan said that the tournament is not only a professional sports playground, gathering more than 12,000 domestic and foreign athletes, but also a large-scale sports - culture - music - culinary festival, contributing to making Dong Thap a prominent tourist destination in the Mekong Delta region.

The Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee informed that the tournament created an impressive highlight with AIMS international standard running routes, leading athletes through historical sites and symbols of Dong Thap. Each run will be a journey of discovery, experience and deep connection with the culture and people here.


Ms. Nguyen Thuy Duong - Director of the Media and Marketing Center (VPBank) informed that not stopping at the race, the Organizing Committee also committed to allocating a part of the collected costs to support the research and conservation of the Red-crowned Cranes - a rare bird, an ecological symbol of Dong Thap Muoi.
