The Vietnamese sports delegation continues to compete at ASIAD 20 on September 23, with notable events.
In shooting, Trinh Thu Vinh, Nguyen Thuy Trang and Bui Thu Thuy will compete in the women's individual pistol event. After the qualifying round, the shooters will aim for a place in the final.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Hoai Huong will compete in the final of the women's 53kg weightlifting event.
In swimming, there are Duong Van Hoang Quy, Nguyen Viet Tuong, Nguyen Thuy Hien and Vo Thi My Tien competing in the qualifying events of 100m butterfly men, 100m frog women and 400m medley women.
In karate, Giang Viet Anh, Pham Minh Duc and Pham Truong Giang entered the men's team kata quarterfinals.
Rowing is one of the sports with the most Vietnamese athletes competing during the day. Ho Thi Duy, Tran Thi Thu Hang, Luong Thi Thao, Tran Duong Nghia, Nguyen Phu and many teammates participated in the singles, doubles and quad events for both men and women.
In canoeing, Diep Thi Huong competed in C1 200m, and also combined with Nguyen Thi Huong in C2 500m. Bui Mai Hanh, Hoang Thi Lam, Nguyen Minh Tuan and Huynh Cao Minh competed in kayak events.
Gymnastics has Nguyen Khanh Phong, Dang Ngoc Xuan Thien, Trinh Hai Khang, Tran Dinh Vuong and Do Nam Anh competing in men's team. Road cycling has Pham Le Xuan Loc, Quang Van Cuong and Nguyen Huong competing in the final.
Wushu continued to be expected when Duong Thuy Vi and Vu Van Tuan competed in performances, while Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Dinh Van Tam, Hua Van Doan and Nguyen Khac Kien entered the semi-finals of sparring.
Esports also has three NARAKA matches: Bladepoint vs Hong Kong (China), Philippines and Taiwan (China).
