7 battles, 5 battles with Vietnamese martial artists participating
Continuing the success of previous events, the martial arts event named Grand SF: Warriors EP05 takes place on January 17, 2026 at The Grand Ho Tram high-class resort, Ho Tram commune (HCMC).
This is the first martial arts event in 2026 organized by Cocky Buffalo - a martial arts training company, organizing professional martial arts events in Vietnam in coordination with the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation and the Ho Chi Minh City Muay Association.
The event has a total of 7 matches, with the participation of martial artists from many countries with developed Kickboxing and Muay Thai backgrounds such as China, Australia, Poland, Korea, Thailand, Philippines... Especially among these, there are up to 5 matches with the participation of talented and successful Vietnamese martial artists. This promises to dedicate to the audience fiery battles between host and international martial artists.
Kieu Duy Quan competes with Chinese martial artist
The highlight of Grand SF: Warriors EP05 will be the championship belt fight between Kieu Duy Quan and Chinese martial artist Ma Lei in the men's 75kg weight class. Duy Quan has made his mark with many victories against international opponents at large-scale martial arts events in Vietnam.

High speed, sharp counter-attack and the ability to finish the match quickly help Duy Quan have the nickname "unbeaten martial artist" with a 5-match winning streak in professional arenas. This time, the belt challenge for the 24-year-old fighter will be Ma Lei, a successful martial artist with 70 appearances, including 35 wins.
Opening this event will be a very noteworthy match between Huynh Van Tuan (57kg weight class) and another Chinese fighter, Chen Ahao. This is a confrontation between experience and class when Van Tuan (27 years old) owns a massive record with both Asian championships, SEA Games as well as 8 national championships. Meanwhile, Chen Ahao at the age of 19 has 14 victories after 28 appearances.
At the same time, the silver medal of SEA Games 33 in Thailand recently, Tran Ngoc Man (63kg), will compete with Li He (China).
Two Vietnamese female martial artists compete
Notably, this event has 2 battles of female martial artists, including the participation of 2 talented "female fighters" of Vietnam.
In the 53kg weight class competing in Muay Thai format, Asian runner-up and SEA Games champion Trieu Thi Phuong Thuy will face female martial artist from Thailand Wirunpat Kanokwan. This is a match where Phuong Thuy is rated lower when her opponent not only comes from the kingdom of Muay Thai, but also has more than 150 appearances with 80 wins.
Meanwhile, SEA Games 33 defending champion Nguyen Thi Chieu (57kg) promises to face a big challenge when facing Polish boxer Lisowska Karolina.
In the remaining 2 matches are matches between veteran boxers. Lampacan Kerwin (Philippines) meets Jeon Hyeokjin (South Korea) and Carter Lawrance (Australia) competes with Kim Hyunjun (South Korea).
