The training program for Nguyen Huy Hoang and his teammates helps improve expertise and prepare for ASIAD 20.
According to Lao Dong's investigation, the training session is long-term and Huy Hoang will only end the program in mid-September.
This is also the time when the swimming team will move to Japan to participate in ASIAD 20.
Nguyen Huy Hoang has maintained stable form in recent times. The male athlete has competed in tournaments including the 2026 Asian Beach Games and the 2026 Asian Open Surface Championship before training in China. In these 2 tournaments, Huy Hoang both won medals.
With the ASIAD 20 arena, Nguyen Huy Hoang aims for the task of striving to win medals.
This athlete has won 2 bronze medals in the 400m freestyle and 800m freestyle events at ASIAD 19 held in 2023.
Among the 5 players training in China of the Vietnamese swimming team, Tran Hung Nguyen and Pham Thanh Bao are both named.
The training program will be closed to ensure that all players achieve the best physical strength and spirit to compete in ASIAD 20.
At ASIAD 20, swimming will organize 41 events for athletes to compete against men, women and mixed men and women.
