Bang Gia Huy is one of the players who will be officially admitted to compete in chess at the upcoming 33rd SEA Games. This young player is part of the team going to Thailand to compete in the 2025 Asian Youth Chess Championship from November 20 to November 30.
This year's tournament is organized by the Asian Chess Federation to create opportunities for potential young players of the continent to compete in standard chess, fast chess, men's and women's chess in groups U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18.
Grandmaster Peng Gia Huy is being focused on preparing for the 33rd SEA Games. Therefore, this young player is given maximum conditions to compete in international tournaments before taking up the mission at the 33rd SEA Games.
Recently, Peng Jia Huy competed in the 2025 World Cup in India but was eliminated in the first round. Last year, Peng Gia Huy participated in the men's chess team competing in the 2024 Olympiad.
