Le Quang Liem, who reached the third round, will meet the winners of the pair Jeffery Xiong (USA) and Daniil Aleksandrovich Yuffa (Spain).

Bang Gia Huy played in round 1 but was unsuccessful and was eliminated. Le Quang Liem is the player holding elo 2729, in the top 15 players with the best ranking in this year's tournament.
The 2025 World Cup will take place until November 27. The whole tournament has a total prize of 2 million USD. The champion will be awarded $120,000. Entering the third round, Le Quang Liem was rewarded with 11,000 USD from the organizing committee. The bonus level will increase gradually through the rounds if the player achieves the best results.
