According to Thai media, Football Association of Thailand (FAT) President Madam Pang is approaching the completion of financial obligations under the court's ruling related to the dispute between FAT and Siam Sport Company.
The case originated in 2016 under the former leadership of FAT. By 2025, the court issued a ruling requiring the Football Association of Thailand to compensate Siam Sport the amount of 360 million baht plus interest. At the same time, Siam Sport must also pay TrueVisions the amount of 240 million baht according to the related ruling.
After taking office in 2024, Madam Pang conducted negotiations with relevant parties to remove financial difficulties for the Federation. As a result, Siam Sport and TrueVisions agreed not to charge additional interest on payments, creating conditions for FAT to gradually handle outstanding financial obligations.
According to the agreed plan, the Football Association of Thailand will be responsible for paying 240 million baht to TrueVisions instead of Siam Sport. As a result, the remaining financial obligations between FAT and Siam Sport are adjusted down to 120 million baht.
To date, FAT has paid most of this amount and is expected to complete the remainder in March 2026. In parallel, payments related to TrueVisions have also been implemented according to a long-term roadmap.
The above moves are assessed to help the Thai Football Federation gradually stabilize its financial situation and handle backlogs arising in the previous period.
