A 3-2 win over Columbus gave Inter Miami their first MLS Supporters Shield title.

On the morning of October 3 (Vietnam time), Inter Miami will visit Columbus in the match of round 32 of the 2024 US Major League Soccer (MLS).

Right from the start of the match, both teams played an exciting attacking game. Columbus took an early advantage with a goal from Cucho Hernandez in the 8th minute, but the goal was disallowed due to an offside. Inter Miami quickly responded with dangerous plays from Messi and Suarez, however, the breakthrough came from a defender.

In the 24th minute, Marcelo Weigandt took advantage of Messi's precise pass to score, but once again the referee disallowed the goal because he was offside.

It seemed like the first half would end goalless, but Messi shined in the 45th minute with a clever shot to open the scoring. Just 5 minutes later, the superstar doubled the gap with a beautiful free kick, helping Inter Miami take a 2-0 lead into the break.

The pace of the match increased in the second half. After only 2 minutes, Diego Rossi scored to reduce the score for Columbus, but Inter Miami quickly restored the gap when Suarez took advantage of the opponent's mistake to score.

Columbus then created more emotion with Cucho Hernandez's successful penalty kick in the 63rd minute, but was left with a man down after Rudy Camacho's red card.

Despite having a chance to level the score from the penalty spot in the 84th minute, Cucho Hernandez could not get past goalkeeper Callender, forcing Columbus to accept a 2-3 defeat. This victory helped Inter Miami win the MLS Supporters Shield for the first time in history.
