In response to unfavorable weather conditions, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has announced the postponement of two matches in the 7th round of the 2025 National Women's Football Championship taking place on September 30 in Hanoi.
The match between Ho Chi Minh City II and Vietnam Coal and Minerals and the match between Hanoi and Thai Nguyen T&T scheduled to take place on September 30 could not be held as planned. These matches have been postponed to October 1, depending on weather conditions.
The tournament organizers said that the decision to postpone the tournament was to ensure the safety of the players, referees and the audience. Playing in heavy rain and flooded pitches can cause the risk of injury and affect professional quality.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the circulation of storm No. 10 is continuing to cause widespread rain in the Northern Delta and North Central regions. Hanoi is warned of the risk of flooding in many low-lying areas, people need to proactively take precautions.
