According to Lao Dong's research, Vietnamese sports have begun to collect doping test samples for athletes participating in the 33rd SEA Games.
The 3 teams of the kickboxing, weightlifting and gymnastics teams have as soon as possible sent samples for doping testing in a random form in accordance with regulations. The next national teams will be sampled for testing in the near future. The total number of samples taken for doping testing at Vietnam's national sports teams preparing for the 33rd SEA Games is 45.
Officers of the Vietnam Center for Doping and Sports Medicine will conduct doping testing samples and the samples will be transferred to the standard laboratory of the World Anti-Doping Agency WADA in Thailand for analysis. The results will be sent to the Organizing Committee of the 33rd SEA Games in accordance with regulations.
The doping test sample collection is carried out in accordance with regulations before the Sports Festivals required by the Southeast Asian Sports Federation and the Organizing Committee at each SEA Games. The number of samples depends on specific regulations.
According to research, after taking samples to test at national teams training to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in Hanoi, the Sampling will continue to be implemented at training sites in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Quang Ninh, and Bac Ninh.
The Vietnam center for doping and sports medicine conducts exchanges and information on doping prevention and control for all Vietnamese athletes and sports coaches before attending the 33rd SEA Games at training sites. Athletes are guided by the staff of the Vietnam Center for Doping and Sports Medicine to complete statements on the ADMAS management system on doping prevention and control.
