Nguyen Tat Duy Loi is the only person to win the championship for Vietnamese youth badminton at the Philippines this time after the finals.
The player competed in the men's singles final against 10th seed Leong Di Shan (Malaysia).
The two sides played fiercely, vying for each point in each set. With composure, Duy Loi completed the final victory 2-1 (20-22, 21-17, 21-16).

Also on the last day in the Philippines, Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen competed in the women's singles final against No. 3 seed Kungkaew Kakanik (Thailand).
The young No. 1 female player of Vietnam played focused to find a chance to win but lacked a bit of luck in the final moments.
Therefore, Thu Huyen lost 1-2 (20-22, 21-14, 13-21) and received the runner-up title in women's singles.
In the mixed doubles final, Duy Loi and Thu Huyen competed together to compete against Malaysian players Khairul Azlan Khashah, Nur Aina Maisarah.
However, the opponent was the No. 1 seed in mixed doubles at this tournament, so they easily overwhelmed the Vietnamese pair to win 2-0 and win the championship cup.
