Player Nguyen Thuy Linh and her teammates have been registered by Dong Nai team to compete in the 2026 National Mixed Men's and Women's Badminton Championships. Players have competed from April 21. The tournament lasts until April 25.
At the tournament, the players competed according to the format of calculating the overall team results.
The Dong Nai team has players participating including Nguyen Thuy Linh, Dao Khanh Linh, Nguyen Hoang Thien Kim, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy, Do Thi Phuong Mai (female) and Tran Le Manh An, Nguyen Lam Vy, Le Hoang Nhat Quang, Duong Duc Hao, Nguyen Trong Duc Anh (male).
This is the first domestic tournament that Thuy Linh has participated in since the beginning of the year.
Last year, Nguyen Thuy Linh and the Dong Nai team won a bronze medal at the tournament. Currently, she and the Dong Nai team are determined to improve their performance at this year's tournament.
According to the draw, Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Bac Ninh, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City teams compete in group A. Hai Phong, Da Nang, Hue and Lao Cai teams are in group B. The teams will compete in the group stage and then select 2 teams with the best results to enter the final.
Nguyen Thuy Linh and many Vietnamese players have just participated in the 2026 Asian Championship in China but did not achieve good results. After the competition program in Lam Dong, she will go to Malaysia to participate in the international tournament from May 19 to 24.
