The final round of the 2025 Korean Masters tournament taking place at noon on November 9 was the competition between Nguyen Thuy Linh and Chiu Pin-Chian (Taiwan, China). The tennis player born in 1997 is expected to "break the curse" to second place this year, after losing in 3 finals of the German Open, Canada Open and Vietnam Open.
However, against the No. 1 seed Chiu Pin-Chian, Thuy Linh had to accept a 0-2 defeat. Although she could not win the 2025 Korean Masters, the Vietnamese tennis player was still awarded an additional 5,950 bonus points on the BWF rankings and received 9,120 USD.

On her personal page, Thuy Linh posted a photo with a silver medal with the caption: "I have enough tears to cry, but I did not choose to cry, but I chose to smile and continue to look forward to my own journey of youth".
Not crying because of losing in the final, but in front of the fans' affection, the "badminton beauty queen" shed tears.
Accordingly, after the match ended, many Vietnamese fans in Korea surrounded Thuy Linh, sent gifts and encouraged the Phu Tho tennis player.
In response to this affection, Thuy Linh also sent her thanks to the fans who have always accompanied and supported her throughout the tournament.
"Hopefully we feel happy, because we have a representative who goes to the final stage. Hopefully, people will always support Vietnamese badminton, because this is a great source of motivation for young athletes. Thank you very much, Thuy Linh shared.
The 2025 Korean Masters badminton tournament belongs to the Super 300 system of the BWF World Tour. The tournament took place from November 4 to November 9 in Jeonbuk, South Korea.
