Vietnam No. 1 women's badminton player Nguyen Thuy Linh has a schedule to compete in the 33rd SEA Games in the first event

The Vietnamese badminton team will compete in the women's team event at the 33rd SEA Games on the morning of December 7. It is expected that Nguyen Thuy Linh will be registered in the competition list.

Badminton will organize 7 events at the 33rd SEA Games including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's team, women's team. The men's and women's team events started on December 7.

The Vietnamese badminton team only has female teammates, not men's teammates. The players on the list at the professional meeting before the competition to prepare for this event are Nguyen Thuy Linh, Vu Thi Trang, Bui Bich Phuong, Pham Thi Dieu Ly, Pham Thi Khanh, Tran Thi Phuong Thuy.

According to the schedule, the Vietnam women's badminton team will meet the Malaysia team at 10:00 a.m. local time in Bangkok (Thailand). The women's team event has participating teams including the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand (host).

This is also Nguyen Thuy Linh's first match at the 33rd SEA Games. According to regulations, teams will register athletes to participate in 3 singles matches and 2 doubles matches to calculate team results.

The Vietnamese badminton team arrived in Thailand on December 5. The players were trained on the weather and gymnasium before the official competition.

Also according to the match schedule on the morning of December 7, the Vietnam Baseball Team will meet the Laos team in the next match of the group stage. We just won 5-2 against Malaysia on December 6.
