The Vietnam Badminton Federation will reward each gold medal with 100 million VND at the 33rd SEA Games.

The Vietnam badminton team will receive a large bonus from the Badminton Federation if they win the 33rd SEA Games medal.

According to Lao Dong's research, the Vietnam Badminton Federation decided to suspend the performance bonus of 100 million VND, 50 million VND and 30 million VND respectively for each result of gold medal, silver medal and bronze medal at the 33rd SEA Games.

The Vietnamese badminton team has announced the list of 8 players (6 women's, 2 men's) participating in the 33rd SEA Games. In particular, top athlete Nguyen Thuy Linh will continue to compete in the 33rd SEA Games.

She is expected to win a medal in Thailand this year. Thuy Linh has participated in the 30, 31 and 32 SEA Games but has not won a medal in the women's singles event. The tennis player won a bronze medal in the women's team event at the 31st SEA Games held in 2022 in Vietnam.

The goal of the Vietnam Badminton Team at the 33rd SEA Games is to strive for a bronze medal. In history, we have never won a silver medal and a gold medal in badminton at the SEA Games.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam Sports Federation announced the prize level for athletes competing, achieving the 33rd SEA Games on December 1. The Vietnam Sports Federation will reward 10 million VND for each gold medal, 6 million VND for each silver medal and 4 million VND for each bronze medal.

Vietnamese gymnastics and aerobics athletes who win medals at the 33rd SEA Games will be rewarded by the Vietnam Sports Federation with each level corresponding to their achievements. The competition target of the Vietnamese gymnastics team is to win 2 gold medals while the aerobic gymnastics team is 1 gold medal.
