Tran Thi Bich Thuy is competing with Duc Giang Chemicals in the second phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship in Ninh Binh.
It is expected that after finishing the competition program, she will go to Japan to be ready to join the Okayama Seagulls team.
The Japanese Women's Volleyball Championship opened on October 10. Currently, Vietnam has 1 player participating in the tournament, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy.
Bich Thuy is one of the top middle blockers of Vietnamese women's volleyball. The player received many compliments from some international coaches when participating in the 2025 World Championship in Thailand.
Earlier this year, Bich Thuy competed in Korea. However, in the probationary period (try-out) before this year's season, Bich Thuy was not signed by any Korean team.
However, she still received attention from the Okayama Seagulls team to reach a competition agreement. According to research, Bich Thuy's contract will be for one season. After that, the parties will continue to work to extend the contract or not.
This hitter is currently a key player of the Duc Giang Chemicals team. The team did not qualify for the semi-finals but had to focus on competing to be ranked and compete for relegation. The 2025 National Volleyball Championship ended on October 16 in Ninh Binh.
