Tran Thi Bich Thuy has returned to the Duc Giang Chemicals team after a period of training with the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team. She just participated in the 2025 World Championship in Thailand.
The coaching staff of Duc Giang Chemicals team registered Bich Thuy to participate in the 2025 Kovo Cup in Korea from September 21 to September 28. On September 20, Bich Thuy and her teammates will go to Korea to compete.
The tournament brings together 8 teams. In addition to the Duc Giang Chemicals team, the remaining 7 representatives are Korean women's volleyball teams including Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate, Daejeon Jungkwanjang Red Sparks, GS Caltex Seoul KIXX, Hwaseong IBK Altos, Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders, Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi- Pass, Gwangju Pepper Savings Bank AI PEPPERS.
Duc Giang Chemicals team is in Group B with Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi- Pass Pass, Daejeon Jungkwanjang Red Sparks and Hwaseong IBK Altos. According to the match schedule, coach Nguyen Huu Ha and his team will play their first match against Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi- Pass on September 22.
Tran Thi Bich Thuy is the only player of Duc Giang Chemicals to join the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team in the first training session of 2025. This middle blocker played in Korea earlier this year for the GS Caltex Seoul KIXX team.
At the 2025 World Championship, she is considered one of the players who competed well in her field, leaving an impression on international coaches. This hitter has scored 14 points for the national team in 3 matches against Poland, Germany and Kenya.
