Notably, the Vietnamese tennis player has been chosen as the number 2 women's singles seed. In round 1, Thuy Linh will meet a tennis player who will have to participate in the qualifying round to compete for an official competition spot.
Before going to Korea, Thuy Linh was training in Bac Ninh with the Vietnam Badminton Team to achieve her best physical condition.
Meanwhile, tennis player Vu Thi Trang is the one who has increased the most significant ranking in recent times.
She just won the women's singles championship at the Vietnam International Series 2025 International Badminton Tournament in Ninh Binh, so she has increased by 12 places, rising to world ranking 133.
Currently, Vu Thi Trang continues to compete in the Vietnam International Series 2025 in Bac Ninh. She is the No. 2 female singles seed in this tournament (closed on November 2).
According to the plan, the Vietnam Badminton Team will send Nguyen Thuy Linh and Vu Thi Trang to participate in the 33rd SEA Games. Therefore, each player focuses on accumulating expertise in the current period to achieve the best form to compete in Thailand.
