Thuy Linh returned home after competing in India and Indonesia. The tennis player focused on accumulating more physical strength before returning to the international arena at the end of February. If nothing changes, she will be able to participate in 5 consecutive international tournaments in Europe after Tet. Notably, Thuy Linh returned to participate in the 2026 German Open Badminton Tournament. This is where the Vietnamese tennis player once won runner-up in women's singles in 2024 and 2025.
Nguyen Thuy Linh has continuously participated in tournaments at the BWF World Tour Super 300, 500, 750 and 1,000 levels in the world in the past 4 years. However, the player has never won the championship through previous competitions. The runner-up title of the German Open Badminton Tournament 2024, 2025 is the highest result Thuy Linh has achieved. However, this only stops at the BWF World Tour 300 level.

If she is allowed to participate in ASIAD 20, Nguyen Thuy Linh will maintain the goal of striving to compete with the best ability.
