Before round 11, the championship race took place excitingly when Thao Vy Organic, Bamboo and An Bien had equal points. All three teams soon won the right to participate in the VPL-S7 national finals, while the championship was only determined after the final match.
The highlight of the round was the direct confrontation between Bamboo and Thao Vy Organic. The defending champion entered the game confidently and quickly created a big advantage right in the first half. A Se Ky's own goal along with goals from Thanh Lich and Van Phuc helped Thao Vy Organic take a 3-0 lead after the first 35 minutes.
In the second half, Bamboo scored a goal to narrow the gap thanks to captain Tan Thinh. However, Thao Vy Organic continued to maintain the overwhelming game and continuously scored more goals. Thanh Lich completed a double, while Van Phi, Danh Toai and Gia Huy both scored a double to help their team close the match with a 10-3 victory. Bamboo only scored two more goals by Van Ut and Huu Phuoc.
In the match taking place at the same time, An Bien defeated Nghiem Pham Holdings with a score of 1-0 thanks to Nam Cung's header after a set-piece in the first half. Despite winning all 3 points, coach Duong Van Tien's team still ranked behind Thao Vy Organic due to inferior goal difference.
At the end of the season, Thao Vy Organic won the SPL-S8 championship, An Bien ranked second and Bamboo ranked third. All three teams will represent the Southern region to participate in the VPL-S7 final round.
The organizers also awarded individual and collective titles. Coach Truong Hong Tai (Thao Vy Organic) was honored as the best coach, Nguyen Hong Kong (Thao Vy Organic) received the best player award, Mai Hoang Phuc (Bamboo) was the best goalkeeper. The top scorer title belonged to Le Trong Nghia of Tan Tien Cai Lay with 12 goals, while Pi Four received the Style Team award.
