Vietnam has 3 fighters present
After the success of previous events, Cocky Buffalo - Martial arts training company, organizing professional martial arts events in Vietnam coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Police Federation (HBF), the World Police Organization (WBO) and The Grand Ho Tram to organize a boxing event called Ho Tram Legendary.
The event will officially take place on November 15 in Ho Tram commune (HCMC) with 7 matches, gathering 14 fighters from many places with developed boxing such as Korea, China, Taiwan (China), Thailand, Australia...
In particular, all matches in the tournament are recorded and ranked on the BoxRec.com system, ensuring professional value, transparency in achievements and directly contributing to the ranking of fighters on the world boxing map.
host Vietnam has the participation of 3 fighters. Most notably is Tran Van Thao, a famous boxer in Vietnamese boxing with many resounding achievements, notably winning the WBC Asian Championship (2017), IBA World Championship (2022) and WBO Global (2024). He also has impressive statistics with 18 wins (10 by knockout) after only 20 professional matches.

Van Thao's opponent in the upcoming 56kg weight class will be Kwanchai Pliankhunthod, a 23-year-old male boxer considered a bright talent in Thai martial arts with a fiery, fierce playing style. Although he has only won 6 out of 17 appearances, all 6 victories of Kwanchai Pliankhunthod are by knockout. This will certainly be a big challenge for Van Thao, a 33-year-old boxer this year.
Interesting belt fight between two female fighters
Another special competition of the Vietnamese representative was the match between Phan Minh Quan and Chinese fighter Balihenbieke in the 64kg weight class.
In particular, the highlight match of the event will be the WBO Asia Pacific title match between two veteran female fighters, Pei Yi Wu and Pam Mccleliand. If Pei Yi Wu is the number 1 female boxer in Taiwan (China), Pam Mccleliand is also Australia's top boxer in the Featherweight division (57.2kg).
With similar height, Pei Yi Wu (29 years old) will have a better advantage in youth while Pam Mccleliand (43 years old) is rated higher in playing experience when having more professional matches.
The opening match of this event will be the match between Nguyen Phi Khoa and Oh Junseok in the 62kg weight class. Cocky Buffalo's 19-year-old boxer Lee Ju Young (Korea) competed with Du Yuxin (China) in the 59kg weight class. In the remaining 2 matches, Im Su Hyun (Korea) will meet Kuo Kai Chi of Taiwan (China), while Park Junhyuk (Korea) will face Wang Fuwei.
