On the afternoon of November 16, the Vietnam team entered the first training session in Vientiane, opening the stage of completing tactics before the confrontation with the Laos team in the second leg of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.
The training session took place at the training ground of the Youth Football Training Center of the Lao Football Federation, about 40 minutes from the team's training ground. The weather ranges from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius, with light rain but does not affect the quality of training, creating favorable conditions for the whole team to quickly catch up with the preparation process.

After the exciting warm-up, the coaching staff deployed professional contents in the attack and defense areas. In the second half of the training session, the players were divided into teams to compete on the half field to enhance the ability to change the state and the accuracy of coordination.
The training atmosphere was active, especially the rookie groups such as Nguyen Tran Viet Cuong and Khong Minh Gia Bao tried their best to integrate and prove themselves in the national team environment.
Before the training session, young center back Kong Minh Gia Bao shared with the media about his feelings in his first time in the national team. Gia Bao said that he felt very surprised and happy when receiving a message from his senior Nguyen Tien Linh announcing his call-up to the national team. Immediately after being confirmed, Gia Bao reported it to her parents. They are very happy and extremely proud of their son.
Talking about his integration with the team, the midfielder born in 2000 admitted that the first days were still confusing, but thanks to the support of his teammates, he gradually got used to the training session rhythm and tactical operation of the team.
Gia Bao also expressed his deep gratitude to coach Van Sy Son, who trusted him with the opportunity to start when he was still playing for Quang Nam, considering it an " Important launching pad" for him to move up to the national team today.
With a central defender who has no advantage in height, Gia Bao determined to make up for it with determination, fighting spirit and making daily efforts to improve himself.

When asked about his fighting style, Gia Bao said that he learned a lot from the playing style of center back Tran Dinh Trong - a player who is not too tall but stands out for his judgment and resilience in the dispute, and is nicknamed "Western hunting expert".
Speaking about striker Nguyen Xuan Son, Gia Bao has special respect and rates him as a "class striker", although he admits that Xuan Son is still in the process of regaining his best condition after a long period of injury treatment.
In the coming days, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will continue to maintain a regular training session to perfect tactical options, aiming to win all three points in the match against the Laos team on the evening of November 19.
