Immediately after arriving and settling down, the players were given a full rest in the afternoon to fully recover their physical condition. According to the plan, the Vietnam team will start the first training session tomorrow afternoon (November 16), starting a 3-day series of final preparations before entering the official match.
A day before, the leader of the Doan Anh Tuan team went to Laos to prepare for the station, work with the Lao Football Federation to agree on the schedule of activities, logistics work and conditions to serve the team during their stay, training and competition in Vientiane.
In the first leg at Binh Duong Stadium in March 2025, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team won 5-0 with goals from Ngoc Quang, Hai Long, Quang Hai and a double from Van Vi. The whole team is holding high determination, aiming to win all 3 points to maintain competitive opportunities in the race for tickets to the 2027 Asian Cup Finals.
The match between the Laos team and the Vietnam team will take place at 19:00 on November 19 at the Laos National Stadium.
