Truong Yen Linh was born in 2010, currently playing for Phong Phu Ha Nam club and playing as a winger. This young player has just had the opportunity to participate in the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup finals in China, thereby accumulating more experience before the 2027 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers.
According to Yen Linh, facing teams with better physique and level helps her and her teammates realize many points that need to be improved.
We have met stronger and taller opponents. Through the final round, we have accumulated many lessons and will try to improve in the next qualifying round," Yen Linh shared.
In the process of preparation, the coaching staff of Vietnam U17 women's team focused on both physical fitness, expertise and tactics. Players were provided with information about opponents through analysis videos, and at the same time practiced situations handling plans to have the best preparation when entering the tournament.

Playing the qualifying round at home also brings a certain advantage to Vietnam U17 women's team. Yen Linh believes that weather conditions, the field and the cheers of fans will help the whole team have more motivation.
As the home team, we have the advantage of the weather, getting acquainted with the field and there will be domestic fans coming to cheer. That is a great motivation in spirit," the young midfielder said.
Yen Linh and Vietnam U17 women's team's immediate goal is to pass the qualifying round to win the right to participate in the 2027 AFC U17 Women's Championship finals. Further, this young player aims for the opportunity to compete in the World Cup arena.
I hope the whole team will pass the qualifiers and advance to the finals to have the opportunity to aim for the highest goal, the World Cup," Yen Linh expressed.
In her career development journey, Yen Linh chose midfielder Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy as a role model to learn from. The dynamism and versatility of her senior are the points that young players aim for.
After experiencing in the continental arena, Yen Linh and her teammates still have about 7 weeks to complete the preparation process.
