The Vietnam Volleyball Federation is considering a plan to choose a new coach for the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team this year.
In 2025, the head coach of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team is Mr. Tran Dinh Tien.
The Vietnamese men's volleyball team just participated in SEA Games 33 in Thailand, but only reached 4th place. Coach Tran Dinh Tien has taken on the role of head coach from the end of 2022 to 2025. He won a bronze medal at SEA Games 32 in 2023 in Cambodia.
In addition, coach Tran Dinh Tien and the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team have some achievements in some participations in the SEA V.League tournament.
Currently, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation has not made a decision on the official coaching staff for this year's Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team.
In 2026, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team will continue to be focused on preparing for a number of international tournaments such as the AVC Champions League, SEA V.League and ASIAD 20.
The search for a head coach to refresh the expertise of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team needs to be built and soon consolidated because international tournaments will start from May this year.
At SEA Games 33, the coaching staff of the Vietnam Men's Volleyball Team includes coaches Tran Dinh Tien (head coach), Hoang Van Phuong, Phan Van Nghiep, Nguyen Dinh Lap (assistant coach).
