In the morning, 14 players of the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team and the coaching staff took a flight from Hanoi to Bangkok (Thailand).
Head coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa said that the whole team maintains determination to strive to compete and achieve the best results in 2 international missions in Thailand.
The coaching staff registered 14 players to compete including Bui Thi Anh Thao (Hanoi), Nguyen Mai Quynh (Information Corps), Bui Thi Huyen (Ninh Binh), Nguyen Cham Anh (Duc Giang Chemicals), Nguyen Khanh Linh (Bac Ninh), Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi (Duc Giang Chemicals), Le Thuy Linh (Hanoi), Trinh Huynh Bao Ngoc (VTV Binh Dien Long An), Le Thi Kim Thu (Duc Giang Chemicals), Vu Mai Ngan (Quang Ninh), Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang (Information Corps), Do Que Tran (Hanoi), Quach Thi Hoai An (Thanh Hoa) and Le Thi Hang (Information Corps).
Previously, the entire team had trained at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports to complete tactics to go to Thailand to compete.
In this year's gathering and task implementation, the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team had to change the head coach after Ms. Le Thi Hien suddenly resigned from her duties at the team.
Therefore, coach Ngoc Hoa was assigned the task of head coach to direct the young U18 Vietnam players.
In Thailand, the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team will compete in the 2026 Southeast Asian U18 Championship from June 23 to June 28.
After that, the team will participate in the 2026 AFC U18 Championship from July 1st to July 7th. The results of the competition at the 2026 AFC U18 Championship will determine the ticket to the 2027 AFC U19 World Championship.
Coming to Thailand this time, the coaching staff assigned the responsibility of captain to main attacker Bui Thi Anh Thao.
