After the first 10 days of training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center with two quality friendly matches with Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club and Werder Bremen Women's Club, the Vietnam women's team entered a new phase, preparing before leaving for Japan for training.
Evaluating the past training week with 2 friendly matches, head coach Mai Duc Chung said: The Werder Bremen women's club is a strong team, ranked 7th in the German national championship, we only had 10 days of preparation before. Of course, we do not take the result of the friendly match seriously.
The important thing is that the players have learned a lot through these 2 matches, especially the young players who play against strong teams will accumulate more competition experience.
Currently, the team has 2 injured players, Bich Thuy and Truc Huong. In addition, there are 7 players absent because they are participating in the Asian Women's Club Championship with Ho Chi Minh City. Thus, our force is not enough".

In the next 2 weeks before going to Japan for training, the coaching staff will continue to practice and learn from the players. In competition, if we do not have physical strength, we will not be able to compete with strong teams. Therefore, in these two training weeks, we will continue to focus on improving the physical strength of the players, especially young players who have no international competition experience and have not caught up with the general training level of the whole team, coach Mai Duc Chung added.
It is expected that during the training week at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, the national women's team will have 3 more matches with the goal of improving skills and coordination to complete the tasks in the upcoming Asian women's qualifiers in Viet Tri in June.
As one of the players in the past 2 friendly matches, the player Tuyet Dung shared, the team had a meeting to draw experience on the strengths and weaknesses of the whole team. “We have just gathered 10 days before the friendly match, there is no harmony between the players in the squad, so the results are not guaranteed.
However, I myself also try to show the young players how to practice as well as possible. The upcoming training session in Japan will be very useful because this is a developed football background with strong opponents, Tuyet Dung said.

Talking about the young players, Tuyet Dung said that they always try their best in each training session, and the whole team always tries their best with the trust of coach Mai Duc Chung and the coaching staff.
