First time competing in the 2025 World Games
On August 5, Dang Tran Phuong Nhi will join the Vietnam Wushu Team to attend the 2025 World Games.
She shared: I have been practicing for a while and am very focused on doing my best at the 2025 World Games.
This is the first time I have competed in a world-class Games like this. I am nervous but when I am professionally prepared, I am determined to achieve the best results.
Vietnamese wushu fans know more about Dang Tran Phuong Nhi after she won two gold medals at the 2023 World Championship.
After two years since the above tournament, the female taolu player of the Vietnam Wushu Team affirmed that she has matured thanks to accumulating expertise through each tournament.
However, Phuong Nhi believes that it is necessary to achieve results while competing to accurately reflect professional capacity. Competing at all levels, I always aim to win medals because only then can I conquer the challenges, the female player added.
According to the coaching staff of the Vietnam Wushu Team, this year's World Games will be fiercely contested with the best delegations participating. The 6-player squad of wushu Vietnam (including Phuong Nhi) is quite cautious in preparing professionally.
The athletes trained in China ensure technical and mental factors before the competition and we hope each athlete will do their best results at the 2025 World Games, in charge of the wushu sport (Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports) Mr. Vu Van Trung discussed.
World champion eager to conquer achievements
The Chinese expert who is training at the Vietnam Wushu Team has assessed Dang Tran Phuong Nhi as a player with great technique and concentration when practicing or competing in real competition.
Through comments, Phuong Nhi has many good opportunities to develop in the future. She is one of the Vietnamese wushu players who have been carefully trained in the national team.
Phuong Nhi once shared: I was instructed by the coaching staff with the best techniques to ensure high accuracy. I am young, instructed by my seniors and learned a lot, and I have learned and grasped more useful experiences for myself.
This year, Dang Tran Phuong Nhi is 21 years old. In terms of individual achievements, she won two gold medals at the 2023 World Championship and a bronze medal at the 2024 World Cup.
However, Phuong Nhi still has targets ahead. The female player is determined to strive to achieve results in three arenas including the 2025 World Games, the 2025 World Championship and the 33rd SEA Games.
Dang Tran Phuong Nhi's school is the male content of the male government, the male sword, and the male bond of the taolu. She is capable of winning a medal at the 2025 World Games.
We recognize Duong Thuy Vi as the first Vietnamese wushu fighter to win a gold medal at the World Games for Vietnamese sports. This year, Dang Tran Phuong Nhi hopes to continue the results of her senior.
The wushu sport of the 2025 World Games will take place from August 7 to August 12.
