According to research, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese men's road cycling team has identified the cyclists participating in ASIAD 20 and Pham Le Xuan Loc has his name.
The team will register 3 cyclists to compete in ASIAD 20. In addition to Pham Le Xuan Loc, cyclists Nguyen Huong and Quang Van Cuong are trusted to receive slots to go to Japan to compete.
Currently, the Vietnamese men's road cycling team is training cyclists at domestic training points.
Pham Le Xuan Loc is a young face of Vietnamese road cycling who has played prominently in recent times. At SEA Games 33, Pham Le Xuan Loc won a bronze medal in the starting line event.
Pham Le Xuan Loc is the first Vietnamese cyclist to have a contract to compete with a foreign racing team (Quick Pro Team). Xuan Loc competed in the tournament in Azerbaijan (May) with this racing team.
According to regulations for road cycling at ASIAD 20, each team is allowed to register a maximum of 3 athletes to compete in the same starting event.
ASIAD 20 cross-country cycling will include men's and women's men's and women's individual timekeeping events.
At the recent Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup Cycling Race 2026, Pham Le Xuan Loc received the Orange jersey for Vietnamese athletes who performed impressively. In the overall achievement of the Yellow jersey (complete result), Pham Le Xuan Loc ranked 6th.
