The Vietnam Federation of Cycling - Motorcycle Sports and the Cycling Department (Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports) for the first time organized the National Professional Cycling Race.
This year's race is called "Returning to Phuoc Long to build victory 2026". The race is held on the road in Binh Phuoc ward (Dong Nai).
According to registration, the tournament will have the participation of teams including Phuoc Long Young Dong Nai, Duoc Domesco Dong Thap, Military Region 7, Loc Troi Group, 620 Chau Thoi Vinh Long, Vo Dac Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City Vinama, Nhua Binh Minh Binh.
Many top faces of Vietnamese men's long-distance cycling registered to compete include Phan Hoang Thai, Tran Tuan Kiet, Vo Minh Gia Bao, Pham Le Xuan Loc, Phan Tuan Vu, Le Ngoc Son, Tang Quy Trong, Tran Clement Em, Nguyen Hoang Giang, Dang Van Bao Anh, Le Nguyet Minh, Tang Trong Phuc, Nguyen Huong, Nguyen Hoang Sang, Tran Thanh Dien, Nguyen Van Binh, Nguyen Thang, Nguyen Tuan Vu, Tran Van Hoai Bac... The Vietnam Sports Cycling - Motorcycle Federation said it will put the tournament into the national annual system from this year.
The race will kick off on January 5th. The entire race will compete in 3 stages. Accordingly, stage 1 is for personal timekeeping with a route of 5km. Stage 2 competes with a route of 120km on the long road and steep road. Stage 3 of the race will compete around Phuoc Long in Binh Phuoc ward (Dong Nai) with a route of 128km.
The closing program is expected to close on January 6th. This is the first long-distance race of 2026 for Vietnamese professional cyclists.
