In the afternoon of April 13, Vietnam U15 women's team entered the match against Capital Football U15 women's team and soon created an advantage from the 4th minute. From a pass from a teammate, Truong Khanh Chi escaped and finished in the near corner, opening the score for the team. In the 17th minute, Khanh Chi continued to double the gap after a combination with Quynh Lam on the right wing.
In the second half, Khanh Chi continued to show outstanding form when putting high pressure, regaining the ball and coordinating with teammates to score to increase the score to 3-0 in the 53rd minute. Three minutes later, U15 Vietnam women's team let the opponent narrow the gap to 1-3 after a moment of distraction on the left wing. However, just two minutes later, Khanh Chi completed a hat-trick with a decisive finish from the near corner, sealing a 4-1 victory for the young Vietnamese team.
In the afternoon of April 14, Vietnam U15 women's team continued to enter the 9/10th place match and maintained a proactive game against the opponent. In the 21st minute, from a corner kick on the left wing by Kim Binh, Ma Ngoc Anh took advantage of the chaotic situation in the penalty area to head in the opening goal. In the remaining time of the match, the Vietnamese players created more dangerous opportunities but did not score more goals, thereby winning the final 1-0 victory.
At the end of the tournament, Vietnam U15 women's team ranked 9th/14 overall. According to the plan, the whole team will return home on the evening of April 15, closing the training and friendly match trip in Australia. This is considered an important exchange to help young players accumulate international competition experience, towards the goals of developing forces in the coming time.
