Attending the meeting were VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu, Head of U17 Vietnam Delegation Luu Quang Dien Bien, head coach Cristiano Roland and the entire coaching staff and players.

At the meeting, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan praised the fighting spirit and efforts of the whole team in the past time, especially the impressive achievement in the U17 Asian Cup qualifiers with 5 consecutive wins, scoring 30 goals and not conceding any goals, thereby winning a ticket to the finals. This is considered a successful campaign, creating a positive impression for Vietnamese youth football.

VFF President emphasized that entering a new stage, the team has added some new factors and expects the players to quickly integrate, build a united team, play cohesively, and maintain professional and psychological stability.
He also noted that the regional arena is an important preparation step towards higher goals at the continental level. Competing in Indonesia poses many challenges, especially pressure from the stands and competition conditions, so the whole team needs to maintain concentration, bravery and a "cold head" in all situations.

VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu affirmed that VFF will always accompany and create favorable conditions for the team to complete its tasks, and at the same time believes that the players will perform well at the tournament.
On behalf of the coaching staff, head coach Cristiano Roland thanked the VFF for their concern and investment and affirmed that the whole team will maximize their ability, play with the highest determination for the national colors. Head of Delegation Luu Quang Dien Bien also emphasized that the team will strive to overcome difficulties and focus maximally on the common goal.

According to the plan, on April 10, U17 Vietnam will depart for Indonesia to participate in the 2026 Southeast Asian U17 Championship, taking place from April 11 to April 23. Mr. Cristiano Roland's team is in Group A with host U17 Indonesia, U17 Malaysia and U17 Timor-Leste.
